Capricorn parent - Aries child

The strict parent with this energetic, fiery child can be a challenging relationship. This adventurous fast-moving child will feel her energy squashed by her finger-wagging parent. This parent will worry nonstop about their foolhardy child, trying to advise them to slow down and to take fewer risks. "Life is a hard struggle," the Capricorn parent will tell her child. The Aries child will see her parent as pessimistic and old-fashioned. This is a challenging relationship, which will both amuse and frustrate each other.

Capricorn parent - Taurus child

These two earth signs are compatible with each other. Both are practical and sensible, and both enjoy material security. The Capricorn parent will set boundaries that the Taurus child will gladly adhere to - it will make her feel more secure. The Taurus child knows that she can depend on her parent, and the Capricorn parent knows that when she sets a task for her child that it will be done. Both can be depended on and are quite conservative. The security that the Cancerian child needs is there when she has a Capricorn parent who is so responsible and won't let her family down. Cancer is more home orientated and Capricorn is more work orientated. This child can help her parent to reap the home rewards for all her work, basically to enjoy the fruits of her labor. Capricorn parent - Leo child

These two don't get on too well. The Capricorn parent thinks his child looks for too much attention and doesn't actually achieve much. These two will get along well, as both being earth signs they will have a lot in common. Both value work and expect a lot from themselves. The Virgo child can depend on his parents to provide the material security that he, as an earth sign, needs. She won't disappoint her parent either, as she will be eager to earn her own money from an early age. She can also be depended on to work well in the service of others - there will be no mistakes in her paper round! Capricorn parent - Libra child

This is another hard work relationship. These two seem to have nothing in common. This is a very introverted combination that tends to stay away from relationships outside of the home because of distrust. The Scorpio child's emotions are intense and heated, and can be balanced well with the cool stable direction of her parent. This child can teach her parent to probe more deeply into life and emotions, to find out what is really going on. If she is not open to this, arguments can arise, because this child will feel unsatisfied emotionally by her distant parent. However, once they learn to trust and understand each other, the intensity and depth of the Scorpio child can help form a deep connection with her guiding, caring parent.

Capricorn parent - Sagittarius child

On the outside, these two are very different - the Sagittarius child is an outgoing, freedom-loving, impatient child bubbling with enthusiasm about life. However, her parent is quite introverted, shy and achievement-orientated. Capricorn will try to set boundaries for her child, but will find this young Sagittarius to be impulsive and undisciplined. This is the child who follows in her parents' footsteps to take over the family business. However, because they are so alike, they have a tendency to argue at times, and wow, what an argument! Capricorn parent - Aquarius child

This routine loving parent will help her flighty child to see her dreams through to the end - to make something of them. The planet Saturn rules both signs and you will see something of yourself in this child. She will be unemotional like you, and also reserved in nature. While your belief is that we are all at different levels in society, she won't agree with you - for your child, everyone is equal, and this can cause a lot of friction and or stimulating conversation between you. Remember that Aquarius is an air sign and your child is as good with people as you are with money. You both can be very objective about things, and you'll recognize each other in this. Capricorn tries to teach her child about discipline, but this Aquarian is stubborn and will find her own unique way.

Capricorn parent - Pisces child

This spiritual, sensitive, dreamy child winces at the sight of her authoritarian, serious parent. She lives in dreams and is not concerned with career and social standing. This parent needs to recognize how different she is to her child in order for a caring relationship to develop. Big expectations should not be put on this child - she is more creative and will achieve in her own way, even if it is not academically or in traditional careers. Capricorn will soften to the kind nature of the Pisces child, even if she baffles her. Capricorn can teach her child that her dreams can be achieved out in the world in a creative way.
